Hyatt Tamaya Resort Wedding | Elana + Brian | Albuquerque Wedding Photographer | Santa Fe Wedding Photographer | Authentic Super 8 Wedding Films
Angela and I photographed Elana + Brian’s wedding at Hyatt Tamaya Resort (the very place Angela and I were married!). Tamaya lies between Albuquerque and Santa Fe in Santa Ana Pueblo. Elana and Brian chose Tamaya’s Hummingbird Garden and the tent at the Cottonwoods Pavilion for their locations at Tamaya. We simply could not have asked for a more beautiful location and couple for a fall wedding. Coordination at Tamaya by Velma. Florals by The Flower Shop at Nob Hill. Cake by Tamaya and Andie’s Specialty Sweets.
The classical guitar music featured in the slideshow below was performed by Albuquerque’s very own
Jim Gross of
Carousel of Music (we met Jim at our wedding where he did an outstanding performance. We highly recommend him). For the slideshow of their wedding photographs (we used 645 medium format and 35mm film for the majority of their wedding) and authentic Super 8 film. If you’re interested in having us photograph your wedding, mitzvah or portrait please send us an
email.
There’s nothing quite like the texture of Ilford black and white film:

David Savinski - Hi Odalys. Just saw this and thank you! My favorite thing with photography is to put people at ease, getting couples to play and be themselves in front of the camera.August 2, 2012 – 7:05 pm
Odalys Mendez - I love the lanscape on that side of the world, David. What a beautiful setting for a wedding. You seem to have a knack for putting people at ease. The images look very natural and unstudied.May 15, 2012 – 5:26 pm
